This page is for manual registration through the Flex Server, which should only be attempted if the guest cannot get through the login page through normal means, and Solutions Center was unable to manullay register the device. Return to HN Call Flow if you have not yet completed the steps listed there.

  1. Find the MAC or IP Address of the guests device

View the HN Help page for help finding the MAC or IP address on all sorts of devices. If the guest has a device not listed here, Google is your friend.

2. Log in to the Flex Server for the Hotel

3. Open System Monitoring > Connected End Users

4. Change the Filter to either MAC Address or Assigned IP, then enter the guests MAC/IP in the box to the right, then click Apply

4. Click on the notepad icon, or Choose Operation > Register on the guest's device

5a. Typical Hotels

Fill out the Guest Last Name, and Room number.

LEAVE THE "CHARGE GUEST" option selected, unless there is an error with the permissions. The guest will not be double charged.

  • If you need to use the Do Not Charge Guest option, be sure to fully explain why in the comments.

Click the Register Guest button.

The device will be registered for 24 hours. Be sure to ask the guest how long they are staying for. If it is longer than 24 hours, be sure to click the notepad or Choose Operation > Modify Registration to extend the registration for the full duration of their stay.

5b Siegel Properties

If you have not already, USE THE ACCESS CODE TOOL TO VERIFY THE GUEST HAS A VALID ACCESS CODE

From the drop down menu, you will pick any of the 7 days, 10mbit packages. The number on the end does not matter

  • If the guest's access code has expired within the previous 24 hours, you can register them using the 24 hour 5mbit package

  • Most access codes are for 7 days, but if the access code shows a different length of time in the access code verification tool, register them for that length of time instead

After choosing the guests package, click the Save button to update the

All Done!

Don't forget to complete your intent!
