Don't forget to enter B5 in the sales reason box
This means the customer already has a service that is not compatible with CCC. Go through the following steps to find what service it may be, and resolve this error.
On the HS screen, check for 32100. This is StraightUp Internet, our prepaid internet service. StraightUp internet is not compatible with any ancillary. The customer must speak to Sales if they want to change to a different service.
On the CB screen, check for 577. This is the old Cox Service Protection Plan. Simply remove this code.
On the TS screen, check for WIREPLN. This is the old Cox Service Protection Plan. Simply remove this code.
Note: the No Schedule box must be unchecked
NOTE: It is fraudulent to go past this point in the sale without the customer consenting to the new rate. Proceeding without explicit customer approval will result in disciplinary action up to, and including, termination.
Make sure to enter the date without any slashes or special characters. For example, 10/03/20 should be entered as 100320
Don't forget to leave notes on the account with what services you added, and for what price!
