The "converter assigned to customer" error occurs because the equipment you are trying to add has already been added to an account already. If it is not on this account, we will need to search to find the account it is on, and initiate a "No Link Transfer"

1. Copy the Serial Number of the equipment you are trying to add.
You may want to paste it into a notepad for safe keeping
2. F3 and exit all the way back in ICOMS, then click on 18 Equipment Detail Maint/Inquiry.
3. Now paste the Serial Number into the Serial field and hit Enter. Verify that the S/N of the first result matches your modem’s S/N, then copy the Account Number seen to the right.
Hold the ALT key and click on the account number to copy it. You may want to paste it into a notepad for safe keeping
4. F3 to exit back into ICOMS Main Menu, then click on 1 Customer Order Entry Maint/Inquiry, and then go back to the EQQ Screen.
You can click Transfer All Eqq to transfer all of the equipment at once, if needed.
5. Type or paste in the Account # of where the match was found, then verify the Account Status:
If the account is:
a) Active, then go to AU screen and verify if the caller is on the account to authenticate. If they:
Can authenticate, then do so and go to Step 6.
Can’t authenticate, then inform that the modem is on an active account, and in order to remove it the current owners need to call in to verify and release it off their account before we can continue.
b) Former, then continue to Step 6.
6. Go to EQQ, then click on NL Tranfr in Blueland. Then, select the modem, and click Transfer.
7. In the new box, enter 9 for the Transfer Reason Code, and the Account Number of the account that you are transferring to (seen in iNav), then hit Enter. Check the Confirm box that pops up to complete the transfer.
8. You should be brought back to the EQQ Screen, and the modem will be gone due to the transfer. Enter in the caller's account number to return back to their account.
