Before attempting manual registration, always verify the guest is connected to the SSID! If they are not you will not be able to register the guest!

Note: Android 10 devices have MAC Address Randomization enabled by default. You cannot use the MAC Address found in the "Status" menu on these phones to register the device.

Swipe Down from the Status bar to open the notification shade

2. Click on the Settings icon

Note: On some phones, the guest might need to swipe down a second time to reveal the settings icon

If the guest has trouble finding the settings here, they will be able to find it an app called Settings on their home screen or app drawer

3. Tap on WiFi & internet

Note: On some phones, the wording may be slightly different

4. Tap on WiFI

Note: On some phones, this submenu does not exist. The guest may skip stright to the list of available networks. If so, skip this step.

4. Ensure the hotel's SSID says "Tap here to sign in to network"

Note: On some phones, the wording might be slightly different. Look out for these common messages:

"Connected" - The device is connected and registered

"Connected, No Internet" - the device is connected, but not yet registered

"Saved" - The device has connected to this network before, but it is not currently in range

Finding the MAC & IP Address on Android 10

From the list of WiFi networks, Tap on the Settings icon next to the hotel's SSID

If this gear does not appear, and you are sure the guest is connected, follow the steps for Android Nougat

2. Tap on Advanced

Note: Some phones may display this screen differently, and may not have an "advanced" option. If so, proceed to the next step.

The MAC Address and IP Address will be listed under Network Details
