The Following method uses Windows' Command Prompt in order to find the IP/Mac Address. This is advanced method, and should only be used if the Windows 10 and Windows 7 are not possible.

Press the Windows Key and the Letter R on the keyboard At the same time

2. Enter "cmd" in the Run dialog, then hit OK

The dialog will appear in the bottom left corner. If the guest has trouble getting this window, they are likely not pressing the keys at the same time.

Alternatively, the customer can simply search for Command Prompt in the Start Menu

3. Enter "ipconfig /all" in the black console window that opens, then hit Enter

The guest does not have to click on any particular part of this window before typing.

You will now be greeted with a wall of information. We will need to find the correct network adapter

Look for...

You DO NOT WANT anything from...

Wireless or WiFi in the name of the adapter
A valid IPv4 address (does not start with '169')

The Ethernet adapter
Any Virtual adapters
Media State / Media Disconnected

Once you've located the correct network adapter:

The IP Address will be listed as IPv4 Address

The Mac Address will be listed as Physical Address

Remember to use colons ":" not hyphens "-" when entering a Mac Address on the Flex Server
